E. Honda (full name Edmond Honda) is a sumo wrestler from Street Fighter.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Edmond Honda is a proud fighter that places great value on tradition. Polite and friendly towards those with good intentions, those who challenge him nonetheless will find that his bulky body can attain a baffling amount of momentum once he enters the ring. It is his stated goal to become the greatest sumo fighter of all time, but he also strives to popularize sumo all around the world until it enjoys the same degree of popularity that it does back home in Japan.

Aside from his fighting career, Honda notably also runs a bathing house that serves as both a place of relaxation and training for his disciples. Visitors, alas, should mind their manners, for the sumo fighter is very particular about observing the proper etiquette.

In 8chanmania[edit | edit source]

Season 1[edit | edit source]

Honda debuted and won his belt in in 8chanmania III, although no records of this event have survived.

During the final battle of 8chanmania XXXIII, he encountered André the Giant, and developed a rivalry turned friendship with the massive man after defeating him. Andrè still awaits the day that he can challenge his old rival to a rematch. Unfortunately, Akuma was significantly less friendly to the sumo fighter than Andre had been, and thus kicked Honda out of the tournament during the Best of Sixteen.

Season 3[edit | edit source]

After an entire season of absence, Honda made a return for PilotMania as part of BANZAI's team. His sumo skills proved to be stronger than the tight body-to-body fighting of Aniki, and following a brief match against USF Antaris that went in his favor, he managed to surprise the audience by not only keeping up, but also outmatching Ulala in her frantic beat. With Dante defeated, it almost looked like Honda was going to earn himself another belt, yet when it came to the finals, his respectable mass eventually was dwarfed by that of Brauggi.

Honda's appearance in 8chanmania XCVII was most disappointing, with him being thrown out of the preliminaries by the B-tier villain Rugal Bernstein.
