YEREVAN, JUNE 2, ARMENPRESS. Carla Bruni – winner of the prestigious national competition “Victoires de la musique” and holder of France’s “Best singer of the year” award, arrived in Russia on her first tour. She was accompanied by her husband, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. About this she spoke on the eve of her first solo concert in her exclusive interview with ITAR-TASS. The concert will be held in the evening of June 2, at the Russian capital’s Music House.

"Unfortunately, my family does not manage to accompany me very often. But every time it turns out, my husband accompanies me. This time I have also brought my daughter, Giulia, who is now two years’ old. Their presence certainly helps me" - confessed the singer.

Bruni arrived in Moscow in the frames of her first big world tour. During the concert, both well-known songs and recently composed ones will be performed for the Russian audience.

Bruni’s concert tickets were taken out for sale at the beginning of April. Their price was from 1.200 to 7.000 rubles. On June 4, Carla Bruni will give a concert in St. Petersburg. "I am looking forward to my upcoming performances in Russia" – said the French singer.

Carla Bruni started her career of a singer in 1997. In 2002, she released her debut album "Quelqu'un m'a dit", 800.000 of which were sold in France.  In 2008, she married Nicolas Sarkozy and became France’s First Lady. The feature of Bruni's music is a lyrical melody that reminds listeners of modern French chanson. The plot of Bruni's songs is love stories told by her, as she writes songs on her own.
