Seven Grammys holding artist and producer admits that he has never had a chance to work with Eminem. But he certainly wouldn’t mind.
The Black Eyed Peas founder sat down with DJ Whoo Kid on his podcast to talk about the hip hop scene of the 1990s, Will’s success, his relationship with the Interscope records executives, and more. One of the questions that Whoo Kid asked was the one about Will’s relationship with Eminem. They know each other, they were on the 1999 Vans Warped Tour together, but why there is no joint? Will.I.Am doesn’t really have an answer:
We just toured together in the beginning. Never really had an opportunity of going to the studio with the dude.
Now DJ Whoo Kid is agitated. He’s asking if it’s possible to make it happen? Will laughs and does not dismiss the possibility shyly offering:
I don’t know. I make beats. And hooks.
