Russia's Interior Ministry confirms that it has arrested Darya Trepova, the suspect in a Saint Petersburg explosion that killed a top military blogger Sunday.

The announcement from spokesperson Irina Volk comes shortly after another video, also released by the interior ministry, shows Trepova saying "I brought the statuette there that exploded", and saying that she would tell who gave her the statuette "later".

The Russian Interior Ministry's spokesperson Irina Volk said "As a result of investigations carried out by police personnel in cooperation with the regional Federal Security Service (FSB) department in Saint Petersburg, Darya Trepova was detained in a rented apartment on suspicion of participating in an explosion on the premises of a cafe in building 25 University Embankment, as a result of which the war correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky was killed."

She continued saying: "At the current moment the detained is undertaking procedural actions. On the decision of the leadership of Russia's Interior Ministry in Saint Petersburg, a group of employees from the main criminal investigation branch of the Interior Ministry is working on the case."
