The Irish actor Colin Farrell made the list of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 2003. Born in Dublin on May 31, 1976, Farrell followed in his father’s footsteps and became a footballer; playing as goalkeeper. He began acting in the 1990’s, taking a role on Ballykissangel, a BBC series, from 1998-1999. Farrell became known to American audiences in Joel Schumacher’s film, Tigerland (2000). Several American roles followed, including Phone Booth (2002), Minority Report (2002), and The Recruit (2003). He played the villain, Bullseye, in the superhero film, Daredevil (2003). In 2004 Farrell went blonde for the title role in the Oliver Stone epic Alexander. The movie was a mess and didn’t do well critically. Farrell played Sonny Crockett, partnered with Jamie Foxx as Tibbs, for the big screen version of Miami Vice (2006). Farrell is frequently in the press for his partying and womanizing ways. A sex tape of Farrell and a former girlfriend, Playboy model Nicole Narain appeared on the Internet in 2006.
