Ser una persona decidida significa que tomas decisiones con facilidad. No te cuesta llegar a tomar una decisión. Ejemplo: Jorge es una persona decidida, actúa y no le da muchas vueltas a las cosas. En cambio, yo soy indecisa. Me cuesta mucho tiempo y esfuerzo tomar una decisión. 😊
Estar decidido significa que has valorado la situación -durante poco o mucho tiempo- y has tomado ya la decisión. Ejemplo: Estoy decidido: voy a dejar el trabajo.

Ejemplos:
- Juan es decidido. (Juan es una persona que suele tomar buenas decisiones, o rápidas decisiones. Posee la cualidad de "ser decidido".)
- Juan está decidido (a hacer algo). (Se le presentó un problema a Juan y él tomó una decisión respecto a cómo proceder.)
- Juan es decidido, nunca deja nada librado al azar. (No hablamos de una decisión en particular que Juan haya tomado, sino que decimos que Juan posee la cualidad de "ser decidido" pues generalmente todas sus acciones están planificadas y no son azarosas.)
- Juan está decidido a comprar un auto. (Hablamos sobre una decisión puntual de Juan: la de comprar un auto. No es una característica de Juan sino que él tomó una decisión respecto al problema de comprar un auto.)
