Russian police kill teen who stabbed cop, called them ‘enemies of Allah’

Authorities in Russia on Friday shot and killed a teen after he allegedly hurled Molotov cocktails at a police station and stabbed an officer — while calling police officers “enemies of Allah,” reports said.

During the chaotic attack in the Republic of Tatarstan, the teen, identified by local media as 16-year-old Vitaly Antipov, tossed at least two Molotov cocktails at the station’s parking lot shortly after midnight in the town of Kukmor, prompting authorities to chase after the suspect, the Moscow Times reported.

The teen then allegedly pulled out a knife and attacked one of the officers before cops opened fire, killing the boy.

That injured officer is expected to recover.

The regional education ministry spokeswoman told the Moscow Times that the teen suspect was born in the Siberian republic of Altai and moved with his family to the Republic of Bashkortostan, which neighbors Tatarstan.

The Kremlin said it saw no links between what it called a criminal act in Tatarstan and Thursday’s barbaric knife attack in Nice, France.
