Angelina Jolie, son Maddox make rare appearance at White House State Dinner

Angelina Jolie and her son Maddox made a rare joint appearance at the White House Wednesday.

The “Maleficent” star and her eldest son attended a state dinner at President Joe Biden’s abode.

The president and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden hosted the dinner in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee.

Jolie likely brought 21-year-old Maddox as her plus-one as he studied at Yonsei University in Seoul.

Maddox’s last public appearance was in October 2022 when he attended the London premiere of his mom’s “Eternals” with his siblings.

Other celebrities in attendance were “Fixer Upper” stars Chip and Joanna Gaines as well as Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim.

Jolie, 47, wore a cream-colored blazer over a flowing white dress for the occasion and complemented her look with a pearl necklace and a gold clutch.

Maddox opted for a classic black suit and kept his long locks flowing at his shoulders.

Although the “Girl, Interrupted” star and ex-husband Brad Pitt typically choose to keep their brood out of the spotlight, they’ve been making more frequent official public appearances.

In February 2022, the former couple’s daughter Zahara joined her mother on The Hill to advocate for the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act.

She also shared a rare photo of herself visiting Zahara at Spelman College, where she’s a student, for its homecoming just a few months after she dropped her off in August.

The “Tomb Raider” actress even posed for snaps on move-in day, as shared by the school’s Vice President of Student Affairs, Darryl Holloman.

When asked how she felt about the milestone moment, the actress admitted, “I’m going to start crying if I talk about today. I haven’t started crying yet so… hopefully, I can hold it together.”

She added that she felt “so excited” to be the mother of a Spelman student.
