Summer Sizzler June 1 at the Media-Upper Providence Free Library

Kick off summer with a fun-filled time of live music, children’s activities, and more at Media’s Summer Sizzler on Saturday, June 1 from noon to 2 pm at Front and Jackson streets. The Media-Upper Providence Free Library is hosting the family-friendly event to kick off the Library’s children’s summer reading program and raise money for its community pollinator rain garden.

Highlighting the day will be a special performance by KyoDaiko, a community taiko drum group at 1 pm. Adding to the fun will be games and crafts for the kids and raffles for summer-themed prizes. The festivities will be held outside on the library’s porch and grounds and Front Street which will be closed to traffic. Please bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the entertainment. The event is free and open to all.
