The actress welcomed a daughter with musician Wang Feng on Sunday, Dec. 27, she announced via social media. “December 27th, 2015, you, me, her … With the birth of this little life, we have our own family. Everything went safely and smoothly. Infinite gratitude!” Zhang, best known for her role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, captioned a photo of a baby’s hand held by two adults. Wang, 44, then reposted the image, adding, “The dust settles, spring begins and flowers bloom.” Her manager confirmed the happy news to the Associated Press Monday.The couple were engaged at Zhang’s 36th birthday party in February, after Wang delivered a marriage proposal by drone. This is the first child for the House of Flying Daggers star, while Wang, a judge on The Voice of China, is already dad to two daughters from previous relationships. — Sarah Michaud
