Hot girl summer is arriving early this year thanks to Shakira.

On Thursday, Shakira, 47, announced the release of her 12th studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don't Cry Anymore), on March 22. This will mark her first album release in seven years.

According to a press release, the album is a testament to "Shakira’s resilience and strength and music's power to transform even the most trying experiences into precious moments."

"Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength," the "Hips Don't Lie" singer said in a statement.

The 16-track album will feature eight never-before-heard songs, a remix, and seven previously released singles like  “Music Sessions Vol. 53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro and “Copa Vacía” with Manuel Turizo.

In September, Shakira was honored with the coveted video vanguard award at the MTV Video Music Awards, which recognizes an artist’s lifetime achievement.

The "Waka Waka" singer made a hot comeback to music after her split from longtime partner Gerard Piqué in June 2022.

Shakira referenced the changes in her life while accepting Billboard's Woman of the Year award at the inaugural Latin Women in Music gala in May. "This has been a year of seismic change in my life where I've felt more than ever — and very personally — what it is to be a woman," she said as she picked up the award.

"It's been a year where I've realized we women are stronger than we think, braver than we believed, more independent than we were taught to be," she added. "Because what woman hasn't at some time in her life forgotten herself because she's seeking the attention and love of someone else? It happened to me more than once."

Shakira, who first confirmed her relationship with Piqué in March 2011, then spoke about realizing her worth as a woman.

"But there comes a time in the life of every woman where she no longer depends on someone else to love and accept herself just as she is," she said. "A time when the search for someone else is replaced by the search for oneself."

Shakira added, "A time when the desire to be perfect is replaced by the desire to be authentic, and where finding someone who is faithful is less important than being faithful to ourselves."
