JUNIOR (2014): Competed in three of the Raiders’ seven meets, figuring in the team scoring twice… clocked a season’s best 33:16.56 in the NJAC Championships (11/1/14).

PROFILE OF THE WEEK (November 2013)

SOPHOMORE (2013): Figured in the scoring in all eight meets… finished among the top three R-N finishers in every race… clocked a personal best of 29:26.92 in the 8-K to finish fourth in a field of 32 runners and help R-N to the team title at the Northern Grey Classic (10/5/13)… ran a 30:11.0 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional (11/16/13)… finished fifth in a field of 31 runners in 31:20.98 to help Raiders win the team title at the Brandywine Invitational (9/14/13)… finished 10th in a field of 77 runners in 31:53.33 to help R-N take the team title at the Belmont Classic (9/28/13)… finished second on the Raider squad in 30:50.30 at the Osprey Open (9/21/131).
 
FRESHMAN (2012): Figured in the team scoring for the final two meets of the season after a late start… in his first collegiate meet, was fourth on the Raider squad with a clocking of 30:34.07 on the 8-K course at the NJAC Championship (10/27/12)… posted a time of 31:00.4 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional (11/10/12).

HIGH SCHOOL:  Three-sport athlete at Bogota HS, lettering in track, wrestling and football… earned four letters in football and two each in wrestling and track for the Buccaneers.

PERSONAL: Wrestled at Bergen Community College as a true freshman… transferred to R-N in the fall of 2012… majoring in history at R-N… son of Ana and Apolinar Medina… has a younger sister (Melanie) and a younger brother (Bryan)… distance runner for R-N track & field team.
