Construction Details:

So, this thing was a dream costume of mine, and it was a TON of work. The wig was purchased from cosplaywig on Ebay. The color is milkshake pink. I cut the bangs in, and cut the curly falls in half, sewed them into wefts, and added them to the falls to add fullness. Nothing I did for curling worked, so Chibirinoa did the hot water method to make them curly. The corset was made from a heavily modified pattern. It's got 9 steel stays, and 12 pieces of spiral steel boning. It's got hot pink leopard cotton with black organza overlay, and the side panels are black casa satin. The track jacket was made from a SUPER heavily modified track jacket pattern. The zipper was hand painted to be pink (it was originally white), it's got a big ole Happy Berry hand-appliqued onto the back. The collar was quilted to look like the reference image. It's also fully lined! I made the HB pin, as well as my Happy Berry earrings and the Happy Berries on my boots out of sculpey. The skirt is just a simple circle skirt. The petticoat was bought, but HEAVILY modified. It's got 3456" of netting hand gathered and hand stitched. I increased the volume by at least 200%. The boots were black, and I painted them baby pink, and I made the tongues out of vinyl I painted pink, and the leopard fabric. I love how it came out though! <3
