Alejandra Guzman is the child of Mexican entertainers.

Latin Grammy winner Alejandra Guzman has announced a concert date at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix on Thursday, July 23.

Guzman's hard-living image and tequila-soaked vocals have made her a household name in the Spanish-speaking world. She has a broad fan base, appealing to both pop fans and rock en español listeners, who have dubbed her "La reina del rock," or the queen of rock.

The Mexican singer earned a Latin Grammy for her 2001 disc "Soy." "Reina de Corazones," "Hacer El Amor Con Otro," "Mirala, Miralo" and "Tan Solo Tu" (the latter a duet with Franco de Vita) are among her many hit singles.

Guzman is a second-generation talent. Her mother is actress Silvia Pinal and her father is pioneering Spanish-language rocker Enrique Guzman.

Tickets ($39-$89) will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10, through livenation.com and 602-379-7800.
