It wasn't too long ago that we were 'oohing' and 'ahhing' over Michelle Williams' 'S wave' style bob – I mean, it truly was the perfect red carpet hairstyle. But now, topping that very 'do with a transformation fit for the 95th Annual Academy Awards is the actor herself with a cropped pixie haircut. After all, if you're going to debut a dramatic chop, the Oscars would be the only place suitable, right?
Alongside Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Kendall Jenner (aka, the usual go-to celebs for all things beauty-spo), Michelle took last night's red carpet by storm in head-to-toe glam. While the fashion head, Kate Young, took on styling *that* sensational Chanel dress, makeup artist Angela Levin, nail tech Top Bachik and hairstylist Chris McMillan teamed up as the ultimate beauty squad.
Now, as much as we love Michelle's red lip and silver lining manicure, the latter of the above trio is who we're championing specifically, for all that's on our minds is Michelle's new season cut. The brains behind said look, Chris, took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes snaps of the star's new look.
As shown in the above eight-part carousel post, Michelle is now sporting a classic take on the midi-length pixie cut which features an eyebrow-grazing fringe and longer face-framing layers.
