Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay looks worlds away from his eccentric style and statement hats as he dons a beanie to go Christmas shopping
He is famed for his eccentric dress sense and love of hats as the frontman of acid jazz band Jamiroquai.
But Jay Kay was seen looking very different as he stepped out in the West End to do a bit of Christmas shopping on Tuesday.
The Jamiroquai singer, 51, wrapped up warm in a black puffer jacket and navy bobble hat with red detailing- a far cry from some of his statement stage ensembles.

Jay paired the cosy outfit with casual blue jeans and a pair of dark blue trainers. He strolled down the streets of the capital before getting into his Range Rover and driving away.
The outing comes after the singer was forced to deny he was at the Washington riots in January as fans compared him to a tattooed supporter who was pictured at the protests.
Jay joked that while he was a fan of protester's furry headgear, it 'wasn't his crowd' who violently stormed the US Capitol.

Jay posted a video to Twitter clarifying his whereabouts after one fan posted a throwback snap of him alongside a heavily-tattooed Trump supporter.
They posted the caption: 'Poor Jamiroquai! What's happened man?'
Jay addressed fans' outrage that he'd attended the protest, by clarifying the MAGA supporter, who has since been identified at Jake Angeli, wasn't him.

In his Twitter video, Jay put on an American accent and said: 'Good morning world. Now some of you may be thinking you saw me in Washington last night but I'm afraid I wasn't with all those freaks.'
He went onto to offer his support to fans in lockdown, and his band who he hadn't seen for weeks, and thanked his followers for their birthday wishes after turning 51 last month.
Jay captioned his video: 'Good Morning Washington, loving the headgear, but not sure that's my crowd. Stay safe everyone, J xxx.'
