That's gotta hurt! Kevin Connolly splits with his actress girlfriend Lydia Hearst... a month after he breaks his leg on set of Entourage

Entourage star Kevin Connolly is not having a good few months.

The 40-year-old actor - who last month broke his leg on set after tripping over a sprinkler - has now split from his 29-year-old girlfriend Lydia Hearst.

UsWeekly report that it was socialite-turned-actress Lydia that ended the relationship after dating for nearly a year.

Lydia was by his side when Kevin turned 40 last year, and the pair initially met through Facebook.

'We met through mutual friends and Facebook,' Lyida told Access Hollywood.

Adding: 'Actually, I think I might've hit him up. It was a while ago. It's been over a year. But I love him to death and I'm very happy.'

However, sadly, it looks as though it is no longer to be between the two.

Kevin, who played Eric Murphy in the hit US show, has been busy lately reprising his role for the upcoming movie spin-off.

The actor sustained the fracture on the set of the Entourage movie after tripping over a sprinkler as he raced to catch a pass thrown by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who has a cameo role in the movie.

Work on the film has not been affected due to the injury as Kevin was spotted riding in the backseat of a car with Adrian Grenier who plays superstar Vinnie Chase, Kevin Dillon as Vinnie's brother Johnny and Jerry Ferrara as their pal Turtle on set a couple of days later.

Jeremy Piven who plays Ari Gold had to wrap up his scenes earlier this month so that he could head back to work on his show Mr. Selfridge.

Kevin's character, Eric Murphy, looks to be continuing his romance with Sloan, played by Emmanuelle Chriqui, in the film, after the final episode of the series in 2011 had the two reunite.

Kevin and Emmanuelle were recently spotted filming in Los Angeles as she sported a prosthetic baby bump.

Sloan’s pregnancy was revealed in the series finale, and the movie is picking up where the show left off, with the character somewhat further along.

Meanwhile, it was announced Emily Ratajkowski will also be starring in the film.

The model, who rose to fame following her naked turn in Robin Thicke and Pharrell’s Blurred Lines video, will reportedly play herself, according to Vogue Australia.

The film is due to be released on June 12, 2015.
