Mexico's pop sensation RBD kicks off its reunion tour Friday in El Paso at the Sun Bowl stadium.

The act — originally a fictional band on the Mexican TV show "Rebelde" in the early 2000s — became a musical force in the real world. The "Yo Soy Rebelde" tour brings artists Anahí, Dulce María, Christian Chavez, Maite Perroni and Christopher von Uckermann back together for the first time since the group broke up in 2008.

"I can't sleep," wrote Dulce María on her Instagram page alongside a photo of what appeared to be the concert setup at the Sun Bowl. "I can't believe that after 15 years this story is still alive in our hearts. God bless everyone traveling to see us!"

Mexico's pop sensation RBD will kick off its reunion tour Aug. 25 at the Sun Bowl stadium in El Paso.

After El Paso, RBD 'Yo Soy Rebelde' world tour heads to Houston

RBD's most popular hit was the show's theme song, which was produced by Televisa and aired between 2004 and 2006. The band members played students who formed a band while attending an elite private school in Mexico City.
