Snoop Dogg calls Vicente Fernández 'one of the greats' in concert tribute

Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández thanked rapper Snoop Dogg for the tribute that he paid to his father Vicente Fernández during one of his concerts.

On social media, Alejandro Fernández shared a video where Snoop Dogg is seen distributing roses to the public while the song "El Rey" is heard in the background.

"Sin palabras. Hasta el cielo, viejo. Love @Snoopdogg," Alejandro Fernández wrote, saying that he was speechless.

Snoop Dogg has expressed on several occasions his admiration for regional Mexican music, which began many years ago with the music of the late Chalino Sánchez and more recently with Lupillo Rivera and Banda MS.

So during his concert, the rapper did not hesitate to pay tribute to Vicente, who died on December 12.

"Let's show some love to one of our fallen heroes, to one of the great ones. You know who I'm talking about," said the rapper.
