Camila Cabello just hard-launched her new musical era with a matching hair transformation. On Thursday the formerly brunette pop star took to Instagram to reveal her platinum blonde dye job in a clip captioned, “It’s time.” In the video post, the “Havana” hitmaker can be seen sporting a white T-shirt, wet hair, dark black eyeliner, and lip gloss in the teaser while filming herself with a camcorder.
Followers quickly filled the comments section to gush over Cabello's freshly bleached locks. “I FEEL like we are gonna get a STRIPPED xtina type ERA,” one fan guessed. Several others noted the resemblance between her new look and Sabrina Carpenter's long blonde hair and bangs.

Hairstylist Nikki Lee used L’Oréal Paris Feria Power Toner in Icy Blonde, per a press release from the brand. “Camila wanted a big moment for 2024 and what bigger moment than her going platinum blonde! A color she has never been before!” Lee said in the release.
“Our promise to each other was we could do it, but only if we kept her hair as healthy as possible,” Lee continued. “We got her to this color with three appointments. When going from almost black hair to platinum blonde hair, it’s important to be patient and understand that it’s a process.”
In December of last year, Camila Cabello was spotted jet-skiing with Drake in Turks and Caicos. Celebrity gossip account Pop Crave posted footage of the rapper and singer laughing together at an outdoor bar, as well as a photo of the pair on the water. More footage and pics were later shared on other accounts.
Is a romance with Drake part of her new era? My guess is we'll find out around the time a new album drops….
