Despite supermodel Kate Moss, 36, trying to keep her wedding to The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince, 40, a secret, we're super excited to hear they finally said, "I do!" A friend claims the couple tied the knot in a secret wedding August 7 in Sicily, Italy.
"Kate is a romantic at heart," a friend tells the UK's Daily Mirror. "The plans were kept very quiet as Kate wanted the day to be low key and purely a celebration of their love. She's never been one for convention or tradition, but Jamie's been there for her through thick and thin, and she simply felt the time was right. They planned the day for weeks and were so excited. Kate didn't want a stuffy, formal do, but something spiritual. Minutes after tying the knot, the giggling newlyweds were outside the church, dancing under trees. It was an incredibly happy day."
Kate reportedly walked down the aisle barefoot in a see-through, white wedding dress for an intimate ceremony that took place in a small church. Jamie waited for her at the altar in a traditional dark suit.
The couple kept the "bohemian romantic" ceremony quiet with only a handful of guests, as they didn't want to be disturbed by the paparazzi. Kate's 8-year-old daughter Lila Grace Moss acted as ring-bearer.
