Holly Willoughby congratulated close friend Nicole Appleton with the sweetest message on Instagram after Nicole announced that she has welcomed a baby girl into the world.
Nicole dropped the surprise news on social media, with Holly commenting: "Welcome to the world beautiful Skipper... you lucky girl... you've won the mum lottery... Can't wait to meet you ... love you all."
The 45-year-old All Saints singer posted a black and white picture of herself and partner Stephen Haines with their bundle of joy named Skipper Hudson on Instagram. Nicole revealed that she kept her pregnancy out of the public eye for nine months.
"After hiding my pregnancy for the last 9 months...which was SOOOOO difficult & keeping her a secret from all my friends...I can finally announce our incredible news!!..Our little girl 'Skipper Hudson Haines' has arrived Stephen & Gene are besotted!!! I'm SOOO HAPPY!!" Nicole captioned her photo.
Nicole was inundated with messages of love and well wishes from friends and fans alike, with presenter Gaby Roslin commenting: "OMG that's the best news. How truly wonderful and magical and welcome to the world Skipper. You have a truly amazing mummy."
"Just the best news my gorgeous girl! We love you so much," Emma Bunton added.
Spice Girl Emma is part of Nicole and Holly's close friendship group, and the women often share photos of nights out together.
Nicole was previously married to Liam Gallagher, and the pair have 18-year-old son Gene together. Meanwhile, She and Stephen have been in a relationship since 2018.
