E. Honda Introduction
The classic Sumo wrestler is back and ready to start punishing fighters with his attack of a hundred slaps and his ferocious (and hilarious) flying headbutts.
E. Honda has some key special moves that require charge, so be sure that you want to learn this system before trying him out. He also has a chunk of special moves with quarter circles and a command grab, so you’ll have many options and tools to use. However, his Sumo Headbutt is pretty essential.

E. Honda Best Tips
Sumo Spirit (Down, Down + K) is a buff that you can only stock one time. As soon as you use Hundred Hand Slap (QCB + P), the stock will be gone and you’ll need to activate Sumo Spirit again.
Using Sumo Spirit will change the properties of Hundred Hand Slap, dealing more damage and letting you create combos that you wouldn’t be able otherwise. For example, after the barrage of slaps is done, you could continue with a Down LP, a standing LP, or MP.
Sumo Dash (QCF + K) seems to be an essential special move in E. Honda’s catalog. It’s a short sprint toward the opponent, and in that brief amount of time, you can add extra specific inputs to make Honda do different special moves. For example, Taiho Cannon Lift (Down + P), which is a launcher and will leave the opponent exposed to other attacks, like Super Arts.
If your enemy is blocking too much, why don’t you use Oicho Throw (HCB + K) from time to time? It’s a command grab that will deal some sweet damage and make your opponent change their mind and be more aggressive.
