More than four months after the death of Vicente Fernández, El Potrillo decided to open up and talk to the cameras about the hard process that both he and his family have recently experienced.

It was in the program Al rojo vivo, where Alejandro Fernández broke the silence and said that it was a difficult time in his life, because although there were good days, in others pain consumed him.

“It's a roller coaster of feelings, suddenly you think you're okay, suddenly you feel like you're over it, suddenly you get some impressive drops where you miss it,” he said.

Likewise, the singer of hits such as Me dedicé a perte, If you knew or Today I want you added that for all the relatives of Charro de Huentitán one of the priorities at the moment is to procure Cuquita Abarca, Vicente's widow.

“Not just the granddaughters, but the whole family right now we bring her in cottons, we are taking great care of her, we have spent a lot of time with her, we have her super spoiled, very chilly, making this drink less bitter,” he said.

El Potrillo deepened that, although the loss of his father was one of the hardest blows he has ever suffered, not everything is dark in his life, since his granddaughters have brought a lot of happiness.

In this regard, Alejandro took the opportunity to recall a tender moment he recently shared with Cayetana, daughter of Camila Fernández.

“It's the feeling, I think she has more followers than me... there was the girl in the back on stage and I saw her dance, then I let myself go without thinking, I grabbed her hand and took her to the stage, I think with the impact of seeing the stage lights and all this kind of shocked me and she didn't want to dance anymore, but it was an incredible moment, I love it!” , he sentenced.

This is not the first time that El Potrillo shows how he keeps the memory of his father alive, because just a few weeks ago, after giving a spectacular concert in Guerrero, he took the opportunity to sing the last song he sang with Vicente Fernández.

It was the night of last April 14, when Alejandro was in Acapulco and those present did not expect the big surprise that they would take almost at the end, when the immortal voice of Vicente Fernández began to be heard in the speakers of the establishment.

It all happened as part of the performance of Mentí, a song that came out in 2020 and was the last song that father and son recorded in rabado together.

But that was not all, El Potrillo also dedicated his interpretation of These Jealousy to his father. It should be remembered that the song was released in 2007, becoming one of the last hits that positioned the idol of Mexico. Alejandro shared his feelings through his Instagram stories where he hinted that Chente's physical absence continues to hurt.

Every day I miss you more, old man. We hugged you from here,” he wrote about a short video they recorded while singing: “This jealousy hurts me, it drives me crazy. I'll never learn to live without you. The worst thing is that very late I understood yes, yes, with you I had everything and I lost it.”
