Actor Lukas Haas is the latest celebrity to show off a dramatic transformation - and he's got possibly the fastest hair growth rate in Hollywood.
The American actor and musician - best known for his roles in Witness and Inception - was spotted several times towards the end of last year with shorter, well-tamed locks - but he looks like a different person now.
Lukas was pictured in Beverly Hills on Thursday, hiding behind sunglasses and wearing a huge hat as he smiled towards the cameras.
He wore loose jeans and a zip-down cardigan, and appeared unphased by the startling mop on his head.
However, according to Us Weekly, Haas has grown his locks out for a new film role alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, and "they both had to grow beards for the movie."
"They were actually having a bit of a 'beard-off' but they grow pretty similar beards," a source added. "Lukas has got a bit of an edge on him."
Maybe Leo was practicing early last year - we did wonder.
The actor most recently appeared in 2014 thriller Dark Was the Night, and this just proves he'll go to all lengths for a film role.
According to the site, Haas has been spending time recently with close pals Tobey Maguire and Leonardo.
He even reportedly took a trip to Dallas with Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer this past April.
