Vicente Fernández Dead - Mexican Singer & Actor Dies at 81
Vicente Fernández has sadly passed away.
The Mexican singer and film star passed away at the age of 81 on Sunday (December 12), via his official Instagram account.

He had been dealing with medical complications ever since a fall at his home over the summer, injuring his spine.
“Rest in Peace Mr. Vicente Fernández. We regret to inform you of his death on Sunday, December 12 at 6:15 am. It was an honor and a great pride to share a great musical career with everyone and to give everything for his audience. Thank you for continuing to applaud, thank you for continuing to sing,” the account declared.
“El Charro de Huentitan” was known for songs like “Volver, Volver,” “Por Tu Maldito Amor,” and “El Rey.” He also recorded more than 50 albums selling more than 50 million copies, appeared in dozens of films over five decades, and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
He was a Grammy Award winner, and in 2016, he retired with a final concert of nearly 50 songs at Mexico City’s Azteca stadium.
