Everyone is talking about Kate Moss splitting from her rocker husband Jamie Hince after four years of marriage.

The supermodel, 41, and guitarist, 46, were one of the showbiz world's hottest couples but they've reportedly been living separate lives for months and are now heading for divorce.

But while Kate has graced the cover of more than 300 magazines and is one of the most famous women in the world, there are still plenty of people who have no idea who she's married to.

For those who have had to Google today, here's everything you need to know about Jamie Hince..

Rock band Scarfo

Jamie formed the group with his college mates in Andover, Nick Prior on bass and Al Saunders drums in 1994.

The lads later moved to London to try and make the band a success and they caught the eye of bosses at Fierce Panda Records, who issued their debut single, Skinny, in 1995.

They later signed to Deceptive Records and released a number of singles, including Alkaline and Cosmonaut No. 7, which made it into the UK Singles Chart.

Indie act The Kills

Jamie later formed the indie rock band The Kills in 2000 with American singer Alison Mosshart and they went on to release four studio albums.

Mosshart came up with the stage name 'VV', which was originally a drunken sound she made, while she nicknamed Jamie 'Hotel', purely because she was obsessed with them at the time.

The singer reportedly didn't click with Kate when he met her and although the trio were spotted out together a number of times, the model is said to have been jealous of their close relationship.

"It's nice to see my bandmate happy," Alison said after they tied the knot in 2011. "We're pretty set in our ways. He definitely has new responsibilities, but that would happen with any band together a long time. And we know how to behave. We're not going to fall over in the street, so I feel pretty safe."

The band are back on the road again with gigs in north America in September.

His relationship with Mosshart

They have obvious sexual chemistry on stage and off-stage they bought a house together before he married Kate and Mosshart was the 'best man'.

It is believed they have never been romantically involved and their relationship has always been about the music, despite what fans may want to believe.

"I don't feel the need to explain our relationship," Alison said. "Our relationship is super-cool, it's my favourite thing in the world."

Marrying Kate

They were introduced by mutual friend, Sadie Frost, backstage at a Kills gig, according to reports.

Jamie fell in love with the blonde beauty and later popped the question in 2008 during a trip to Amsterdam.

He proposed to her in bed with a vintage 1920s ring worth more than £10,000 and they wed on July 1, 2011 at St Peter's Church in Southrop in Gloucestershire.

It was a three-day wedding in the Cotswolds with only 138 guests but an estimated £500,000 budget. Not bad.

Jamie WAS a vegan

"I was vegan for about 20 years," Jamie previously said. "But then… the thing that really tipped me over the edge was when I first met Kate, had just started seeing her, and I walked into the kitchen and she was in her underwear making me a bacon sandwich. She didn't know I was vegan, and I was like… all my principles went out of the window. Or my priorities went right."

Well, when you put it that way, we'd probably have just eaten the bacon sandwich as well.

He's not as rich as Kate (or rich at all)

Not many people are as rich as the supermodel, whose net worth is estimated at more than £55million.

Reports issued by Companies House show Jamie's businesses, The Kills Touring and Red Meat Heart, made little money in recent years, the latter of which pulled in just £2 last year. That wouldn't even buy him a pint in Primrose Hill.

He also once said he "squatted for most of my adult life" but now lives in a multi-million pound mansion with Kate in Highgate, north London. It doesn't look like that will be for long, though.
