Julio Iglesias In Good Health Following Minor Back Surgery

Legendary Spanish singer Julio Iglesias is in good health following a small medical procedure, said a family spokesperson, dispelling rumors he had been ill with heart problems.

“Julio is perfect and has no health problem,” stated Jorge Iglesias, the singer's nephew as well as a representative of the artist.

Iglesias, who holds the record of best-selling Latin artist with over 300 million albums sold, had a minor medical procedure in the lumbar portion of his back. It had been reported earlier he had been hospitalized with a heart ailment.

Born in Madrid, Spain, the international sensation rose to fame during the 1970s and 1980s for his melodic and romantic Spanish-language hits such as "Por El Amor De Una Mujer," "Abrazame" and "Hey," as well as his English-language duets with performers like Willie Nelson ("To All the Girls I've Loved Before,") and Diana Ross ("All Of You") which all topped the charts for years. Iglesias has recorded in 14 different languages.
