Jessica Alba is dishing the deets on her love life — including the super adorable and super spontaneous way she and husband Cash Warren tied the knot.
In her July/August feature for Glamour UK, the actress and Honest Beauty founder spoke about her and Cash’s unconventional love story, beginning with how it all started!
Jessica and Cash’s love story started on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004, where Cash was working on the film that Jessica was starring in. He apparently slipped her a note, signed simply with a dollar sign, which said:
“I really, really like you.”
Fast forward to four years later, in 2008, when the couple decided to get married on a whim while Jessica was pregnant with their eldest child, Honor:
“We eloped and I think I was nine months pregnant! It wasn’t planned.
It was literally, ‘Honey, do you have anything to do this morning?’ And he was like, ‘No.’ So I said, ‘Should we go to the courthouse and get married?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah.’”
The 41-year-old star also shared that after exchanging ‘I dos’, they had a celebratory meal of waffles:
“And then I said, ‘Can we get waffles afterwards because I have a doctor’s appointment? Will you come to my doctor’s appointment?’
And that’s how it happened!”
