It’s no secret that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband, has had his ups and downs with his children over the years.

While it’s unclear how well the Hollywood actor gets on with them today, recent reports claim that his now 19-year-old son, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, posted an expletive-filled “rant” against his adoptive father on a private Instagram story on Father’s Day back in 2020.

As Pax was 16 at the time, it’s unclear where his head is at now. The news comes after Jolie and Pitt’s daughter Zahara decided not to use her dad’s surname in a recent sorority speech, as previously reported.

Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt was born in Vietnam

Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt was born on November 29, 2003, in Vietnam. According to British media, his mum Pham Thu Dung was a heroin addict.

Pax was raised in an orphanage just outside Ho Chi Minh City called Tam Binh Orphan Center.

He was adopted by Angelina Jolie in 2007

Jolie’s second oldest son, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt was adopted in 2007 from Vietnam when he was three years old. His name means “peaceful sky”. Pitt adopted Pax a year later in 2008, per People.

He’s made a couple of film cameos

Pax had a small uncredited role in Jolie’s Maleficent and even recorded some animal noises for pandas in Kung Fu Panda 3 along with his siblings Zahara, Shiloh and Knox.

He’s been helping his mum to launch Atelier Jolie

In October, Angelina Jolie opened up to Vogue about how “heavily involved” Pax and Zahara have been in helping her set up her sustainable fashion business, Atelier Jolie.

“That was my son practising,” Jolie told the magazine, referring to a blank canvas stencilled with the Atelier Jolie logo in white spray paint.

He directed a behind-the-scenes video of his mum’s Vogue photo shoot

Pax, who recently worked with Jolie on her upcoming film Without Blood, per People, joined his famous mother again to shoot a behind-the-scenes video for her Vogue digital cover.

“We work well together,” the actress previously told People, referring to her sons Pax and Maddox helping out in the assistant director department of Without Blood. “When a film crew is at its best, it feels like a big family, so it felt natural.”
