How does Gwen Stefani look so youthful at 54? The No Doubt singer’s secrets, revealed: from her skincare routine with GXVE Beauty and veggie diet to working out with hubby Blake Shelton

There’s “No Doubt” about it: Gwen Stefani is one of those people who just never seems to age.

In fact, at 54, she looks nearly the same as she did when she first debuted on the global music scene over three decades ago.

Whether it’s through her amazing genetics or having access to Hollywood’s top beauty clinics, this 90s pop queen has somehow managed to defy her age with barely a wrinkle or blemish on her face.

Just last month, when she graced the Hollywood Walk of Fame to receive her star, folks couldn’t help but do a double take. With two teenagers by her side, Kingston (17) and Zuma (15), not to mention nine-year-old dynamo Apollo – all from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale – Stefani appeared closer in age to her kids than to her fellow 90s icons.

Gwen Stefani’s regular skincare routine

“Make-up truly does make a big difference in how you feel,” Gwen Stefani has been quotes as saying. Photo: GXVE

Last year, the “4 in the Morning” singer told US media that her secret to success was to stay hydrated and maintain a regular skincare routine. “Besides exercise and eating right, one skincare secret is hydration. I like my skin to look super dewy,” she told the publication. Her go-to product is of course from her own cosmetics line GXVE Beauty. She said she uses the brand’s hydrating and priming face oil as “It helps give your skin a youthful, moist glow.”

“The magic is in the make-up”

Stefani has so well and truly nailed the signature red lip and platinum blonde ponytail look she might as well trademark it by now. A cat eye is also a must for the The Voice judge. “I just want to look as good as I can at any age, like we all do, and share that quality make-up truly does make a big difference in how you feel,” she said. “The magic is in the make-up,” she told US media.

Sun protection first

Growing up in California meant that Stefani got a lot of sunshine growing up. Yet her biggest tip to Elle back in 2017 was to “stay out of the sun!”

“It’s funny though, because you definitely see it as you get older. Later in life, you’re like ‘What is that?!’, and it turns out it’s from the sun and you’re like, ‘Oh why did I do that to myself?’,” she told the publication. “That said, growing up in California, I was pretty good. Not when I was a kid, but once I hit my twenties,” added the pop icon.

Her mainly vegan diet

Per Hello!, Stefani maintains a diet that consists of mainly vegan and vegetarian dishes. The report stated that she has plenty of fruits, vegetables and health-conscious cuisine, but occasionally treats like pizza and lasagne. “My mom makes lasagne and she’ll make one with meat and one with just ricotta cheese. I love that,” the American singer, who has Italian and Irish roots, once told Bon Appétit.

Working out

Despite her packed schedule, Stefani reportedly always finds time to exercise and keep her rock-hard abs in place. “I have no magic thing that I do to stay fit. I eat really clean, do my shows, and work out,” she told Shape.

“I always feel better when I’m in a routine even though I sometimes hate it. I play tennis badly, with Blake. Then we go to the gym. I like to do squats and lunges and light weights. I don’t go crazy like I used to. I do just enough to make my body feel good,” the songwriter told the magazine. She told InStyle that she’s also tried yoga, Pilates and boxing.
