Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead prefer to stay out of the spotlight with their romance, but when they do venture out in public — their love is hot. The lovebirds were spotted at the TV host’s soccer game on Sunday and their PDA was on full display.
Zellweger supported her man while he was playing on a semi-pro team that is affiliated with Southampton FC. (See the photos HERE.) Wearing a casual outfit of brown sweatpants, a tan shirt, and her beloved baseball cap, the Bridget Jones’s Diary star visited Anstead at halftime. The dynamic duo shared a passionate kiss as Anstead wrapped his arm around Zellweger and she tilted the lid from her cap so it wouldn’t hit his forehead. Such a cute moment!
The US Sun also seems to think that Zellweger and Anstead got engaged in July, even though they haven’t announced the news. Calling the engagement “low-key,” a source told the news outlet that they are “keeping their plans incredibly private” and that fans shouldn’t expect “a big public announcement.” The insider also described their relationship as “super strong” because “they’re madly in love, and they can’t wait to get hitched.” But if you ask People‘s sources, the news is reportedly false.
While there’s been no further commentary from Zellweger and Anstead, it’s easy to see their passion runs deeps. The unexpected couple met on the set of the Discovery+ show, Celebrity IOU Joyride, and their chemistry popped off the screen. By June 2021, they were dating and made their relationship Instagram official just months later. There isn’t much known about their romance beyond their private life in Laguna Beach, California, but that’s the way they prefer it — under the radar.
