For the NFL halftime show, Jermaine, 51, was invited to join Usher, 45, for his huge performance.

Jermaine sang alongside plenty of other celebrity artists but stood out from the crowd in a very unusual look.

The producer stuck to the theme, wearing a black and white outfit.

He opted for a black blazer over a white shirt, with a huge angular collar.

Jermaine paired the blazer with black shorts, ditching the expected full-length pants.

The wide shorts came to just under his knee, leaving only his calves on show.

Finishing the look, Jermaine wore white socks with a large lacy frill, and formal black shoes, along with classic black sunglasses.

PUT A SOCK IN IT

On X, formerly known as Twitter, many fans pointed out Jermaine's outfit and made wild jokes about his look.

"Jermaine Dupri jumped on the stage looking like boss baby," said one fan.

"I swear me and my sisters had these socks as little girls," shared a third social media user.

"I wore these exact shoes and socks to church when I was three," another agreed.

"Jermaine Dupri dressed like he just signed the Declaration of Independence," a fifth joker wrote.

"Jermaine Dupri, the Easter Sunday socks and them 4t shorts could have stayed at home," a final commenter judged.

MIC DROP

Alongside talking about Jermaine's unique style choices, fans on X also slammed the production of the show after Usher suffered technical difficulties.

Usher's face mic didn't seem to be working well enough for his audio to be heard over the cheering crowd, with his mic swapped out during song changes.

"Why did they do Usher so dirty with that trash audio quality?" one person asked on the platform.

"Who was doing the mic check because I can’t hear Usher’s voice that well," another wrote with crying emojis.

"I’m glad they swapped his mic. I was going to be so disappointed if Usher couldn’t hit those notes like he used to," added a third.
