“It all started on the outskirts of Berlin, in a small chapel, with a three-part harmony,” concert organizers said in a release. “Daniel Lanois and two buddies. Jermaine Holmes is there, on drums, the mighty Jim Wilson on bass, and Lanois on guitar. Their three voices blend and echo.

“The acoustics of the chapel are such that the voices are too beautiful. So, the instruments go silent. They let the voices fill the night.”

That “dynamic configuration” is now being presented as a live performance in various formats. The more Lanois travels, the more he feels that mediums merge into one another; the record, the radio, the internet, TV, festivals, life itself and, of course, singing.

Slague of Carrefour francophone wil present the show.
