WALLY LÓPEZ

Ángel David López Álvarez, better known as Wally López (San Blas, Madrid, 1976), is a DJ and producer of house music. After passing through stations such as Loca FM or Flaix FM, Wally begins to present his own radio program, La Factoría, on Máxima FM.

In 2000 he released the label Weekend Records, remixing artists such as Tiësto, Marco V, Valentino Kanzyani, Dirty Vegas, Bob Sinclar, Robbie Rivera and David Guetta, giving the latter his first worldwide success; “Just a Little More Love”. And also to Spanish artists such as Mónica Naranjo, Miguel Bosé, Guaraná and La Oreja de Van Gogh. Many of his releases are published successfully on labels like Defected, Underwater, Yoshitoshi or Subliminal. In that year he also produced what will be his first big hit, “Amman”, followed by “Patricia Never Leaves the House” (he was awarded the best disco house of the year 2001) and “Disco Night”.

After working for a lot of labels and artists, he decided to create, in 2001, the label La Factoría Discos (now TheFactoría) and a subsello of more underground character called Formula Records among others. All of them are part of the Factomanía Group, a company that Wally manages and that has such diverse areas as a management agency or the Tremenda Shop in Madrid.

As a DJ, Wally has toured five continents, playing in the best clubs on the planet. He has had residences in Pachá (Ibiza), The End (London), Discotèque (Barcelona), Red Light (Paris), Pachá (Barcelona), Ministry of Sound (London) and The Mix (Paris).
