Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's baby hit fashion shows and red carpets long before he was born, but now he's here and gracing the cover of British Vogue with his parents

For the magazine's March cover, Rihanna is hand-in-hand with Rocky, who is holding the 9-month-old (his name has not yet been revealed), as the family strolls on a beach. They were photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and styled by British Vogue's Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful.

Enninful shared a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot that featured the Rih-Rocky family from morning until evening as they prepared for the shoot, posed on the beach taking photos between giggles and laid the baby in a silk-lined bassinet for the evening pictures.

"Being on set is always an electrifying experience, but spending the day with @BadGalRiri, @ASAPRocky and their son is one I’ll never forget," Enninful wrote on Instagram Wednesday.

The singer's Vogue shoot and interview, published Feb. 15, took place before she had a visible baby bump – the one she revealed during her Super Bowl halftime show – and announced that baby no. 2 is on the way.

In her first in-depth interview since welcoming her first child, she talked about motherhood, her decision to take on the Super Bowl performance and the never-ending ask: when a new album might arrive.

Rihanna wants to release new music 'this year'

Many fans were hoping Rihanna's Super Bowl performance would launch an announcement of a world tour or new album, but none of those big moments materialized after the show. The singer said her last album, "Anti," was her "most brilliant" album and she's had a hard time being comfortable to put out more work.

"There’s this pressure that I put on myself. That if it’s not better than ("Anti") then it is not even worth it," she said. "It’s not the right way to look at music because music is an outlet and a space to create, and you can create whatever."

Her answer for when she wants to release new music: "I want it to be this year."

She continued: "Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos."

Rihanna says motherhood is 'legendary,' postpartum fashion

Rihanna summed up motherhood in one word: "Legendary."

"You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever,” Rihanna said. "There are photos of my life before – but the feeling, the desires, the things that you enjoy, everything, you just don’t identify with it because you don’t even allow yourself mentally to get that far … Because it doesn’t matter.”

The singer says she and Rocky brought home their son "cold turkey" after he was born, leaving it to just the two of them to figure out the early days of parenthood.

"Man, you’re a zombie for the most part," she told the fashion magazine. "Then you’re so paranoid. Because you’re like: they trusted us to come home with this baby? This new life? With us?"

Rihanna's pregnancy was marked with fashion moments and before she was expecting she was quickly considered a luminary in the fashion space, but she admits that postpartum she struggled finding things to wear.

"You don’t know what to put on. Everything is too small or too big," she said. "You kind of just gotta wait it out otherwise you end up buying so many clothes you’re not going to use. Well, unless you get pregnant again."

Rihanna tells British Vogue she was "geeked" for her Super Bowl performance after the birth of her son.

Rihanna says she was 'geeked' to do Super Bowl after son's birth

When the singer took the Super Bowl stage Sunday, she was not only a new mom, but performed for nearly 13 minutes while pregnant.

She said she couldn't believe she agreed to the performance, noting that she hadn't taken a stage in seven years. But giving birth gave her confidence.

"You’re geeked on a challenge like that because you know what your body just did. You feel this sense of ‘Nothing is impossible,'" she said.
