Alanis Morissette, 44, announces pregnancy by showing off her baby bump

Alanis Morissette is getting ready for baby number 3.

The "You Oughta Know" singer-songwriter, 44, posted a photo on Instagram Monday showing off her baby bump, while recording music in her home in headphones and a black turtleneck.

 "So much NEWness," Morissette wrote, followed by heart and prayer hand emojis.

Her publicist Dvora Englefield confirmed to USA TODAY that Morissette is pregnant.

It will be Morissette's third child with husband and rapper Mario "Souleye" Treadway, 38, who she married in 2010. Morissette gave birth to the couple's daughter Onyx Solace in 2016 after son Ever Imre was born on Christmas Day 2010.
