The Pharrell Williams skincare products sold out in less than 24 hours!

On November 11, 2020, Singer and producer Pharrell Williams announced the launch of his own skincare line on social media. In less than 24 hours, the Instagram page of the new brand called Humanrace has already gained more than 26,000 followers. A craze linked to the popularity of the artist, whose own skin seems to have defied time.

In an interview with Allure magazine, the 47-year-old artist explains that he has been interested in skincare for the past 20 years, and initially turned to models for advice on which products to use. Now, he is collaborating with dermatologist Elena Jones to develop the Humanrace product line. The result is three products dedicated to preparing, repairing, and protecting the skin. The first is the Rice Powder Cleanser, an ideal cleansing powder mainly made of the following ingredients: kaolin clay to eliminate skin impurities, a Lotus Enzyme Exfoliant exfoliant, and a humidifying Cream composed of hyaluronic acid and snow fungi (used in Chinese medicine for their ability to retain moisture and therefore promote hydration of the skin). “Humanrace Skincare doesn’t differentiate by race or gender. We’re creating for humans; we are all born in the same skin,” said the singer on the brand's Instagram account.

The products are wrapped in green packaging, made from 50% recycled plastic, and can be refilled once empty.
