Mick Jagger entered the 1960s era music scene with a fire underneath him. During his teenage years, the singer drew inspiration from rhythm&blues singers, and even founded his own musical group Little Boy Blue & The Blues Boys alongside his friend Dick Taylor. Once Mick Jagger and Keith Richards met on a train platform, neither knew the two were about to shake up the music scene for years to come. They began by hanging out together, then eventually playing music side by side, and soon they met Ian Stewart and Brian Jones, from there the Rolling Stones were born.
Mick Jagger as you've never seen him
Despite being rather secretive, Mick Jagger quickly garnered attention for his androgynous and out-of-the-box style, in stark contrast with the current rock'n'roll stars, The Beatles, who largely wore modest and minimalistic outfits. A bonafide wild card, Jagger managed to show off his sex appeal while also demonstrating his overflowing charisma. In 2010, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the singer as number 16 in the list of the world's 100 greatest singers of all time. Feast your eyes on Mick Jagger, in intimate portraits, as you've never seen him before.
