Victoria Beckham is on the mend after suffering a foot injury. On Feb. 22, the fashion designer's husband, David Beckham, shared an Instagram Story of what appeared to be his wife's foot in a medical boot.

'Apparently my wife's little accident in the gym was a clean break,' he wrote on the post, alongside a doctor and 'Feel Better' Snoopy GIFs. The former professional soccer player also added a white heart and sad face emojis.

The update comes after Victoria first revealed her injury last week, telling her followers that she 'fell over in the gym.'

Here's everything to know about Victoria's foot injury and ongoing recovery.

Victoria first shared the foot injury on Valentine’s Day.

While Victoria and David celebrated Valentine's Day last week with a couple of sweet tributes to one another, it wasn't all romance. That same day, the former Spice Girl also shared with fans that she'd injured her foot during a workout.

'Happy Valentine's Day to me...' she wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a photo of her foot with a pack of ice on it. At the bottom of the photo, Victoria added that she 'fell over in the gym!!!' next to a face palm emoji.

David reposted her snap and teased his wife about the accident, writing, 'How big's your toe? WOW. I NEVER NOTICED THAT BEFORE.' Classic David and Vic.

She’s since been seen using crutches.

On Feb. 23, paparazzi photos—posted by The Sun and The Daily Mail, amongst other outlets—publicly captured Victoria for the first time after her accident. In the snaps, the 49-year-old utilised crutches and sported a boot on her foot. She paired the medical accessories with a single £890 Alaïa pump as she left Dorian Bistro in Notting Hill, per The Daily Mail.

This isn’t Victoria’s first time using crutches: In 2018, she revealed that she'd suffered a 'small stress fracture' on Instagram.

David Beckham shares an update on his wife’s foot injury.

'Thank you for all the lovely messages,' she wrote at the time. 'A small stress fracture, just needs some rest! #itsnotideal.'

Victoria is known for working hard in the gym.

The former pop star is no stranger to pushing herself with tough workouts, sharing in 2023 that she was in her 'strength training phase' via Instagram.

'I follow my training session, which I vary day-to-day, to focus on different areas of the body,' she wrote at the time. 'Today I'm focusing on my upper-body strength, with a combination of resistance-band exercises.'

Her performance coach, Bobby Rich, told Women’s Health that Victoria started leaning into strength training after finding that the benefits from her own training 'had become minimal.' He added, 'Despite spending daily 90+ minute sessions in the gym, she was purely maintaining her fitness levels rather than improving in other meaningful ways. She was ready for a change.'

Now, Victoria enjoys lifting heavy, telling Grazia in 2022, 'I've always been a bit scared of weights, but it turns out I love them. I've even got those special gloves to wear! It's good to switch things up and keep your body guessing. I've got so much more muscle tone now.'

Feel better, Victoria!
