Meeting the Cast of ‘HSM3′

Hey Wildcats! What time is it? My countdown clock says there's only ONE day left until the premiere of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year"!

I got to chat with the stars of "HSM3" during their whirlwind promotional trip around the world. Wonder what they were like? Zac Efron ("Troy") is so cute and has such piercing blue eyes that I was afraid if I stared at him too long my cheeks would turn red, I'd lose my ability to speak, and I might turn into a pathetic, drooling puddle of uselessness! Zac's on and off-screen love, Vanessa Hudgens ("Gabriella"), looked stunning in a hot pink dress (that called for double-sided tape) and hotel slippers. Both Zac and Van talked extensively about how difficult it was to learn the Viennese Waltz for the "Can I Have This Dance?" rooftop number, and the two lovebirds agreed that they couldn't have done it without each other.

Dancing actually came up a lot during my interviews. Corbin Bleu ("Chad") revealed that in the film's opening routine, "Now or Never," they were actually playing ball against real-life basketball players, which he found to be a tad intimidating. And despite feeling a little under the weather, Ashley Tisdale ("Sharpay") -- wearing a cobalt blue dress, leather jacket, studded belt, and lace tights -- was super excited when she talked about dancing on treadmills and going through multiple costume changes in the huge "I Want It All" musical number. Although Olesya Rulin ("Kelsi") admitted that she turned to "Dancing With the Stars" veteran Monique Coleman ("Taylor") many times throughout filming for tips, the ever-so-humble Monique insisted that all of her "HSM3" castmates are excellent dancers. While I had a great time talking to the entire "HSM3" cast, my favorite had to be Zac and his mesmerizing blue eyes. In fact, Zac and I have a second date this Friday night when "HSM3" opens in theaters. Of course, I'll be watching him from afar, but can you blame a girl for dreaming?
