After many rumors of the pair drifting apart, an insider close to Gwen gave fans the inside scoop. “Gwen saw the signs,” the source told Life & Style. “They were spending too much time apart, so she decided things had to change.”

According to the source, these changes include a promise to discuss their respective schedules before committing to any jobs, and prioritizing more family time. One thing is for sure, the source says: “They are committed to making their relationship work.”

Gwen is even taking that commitment to her social media accounts. Last week, Stefani shared a Polaroid of her and the “Ol’ Red” crooner, 47, hugging and smiling alongside irises on marble. A handwritten note on the bottom of the photo read; “never knew a love like this” with a heart. Gwen Stefani Seemingly Dispels Marital Trouble Rumors With New Blake Shelton IG Post

An insider reportedly sat down with Life & Style in January and told the outlet: “Gwen and Blake’s marriage is definitely in trouble. Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time.” Stefani and Shelton, as the source noted, are raising her three sons (Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 9) whom she shares with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

“The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result,” the insider went on. They also claimed that the No Doubt frontwoman was “hurt” that the country singer didn’t support her work on social media at the time, and that they had been “fighting.”

After dating since November 2015, Stefani and Shelton got married in a cozy ceremony at the groom's Oklahoma home in July 2021.

According to the Life & Style source, Stefani was also reportedly upset that she and Shelton had separate New Year's Eve plans. In addition, Shelton also publicly said that he planned to drink alcohol less back in December 2023.  This was to "appease" Stefani, as the insider said, as she "doesn't really like him boozing."

The insider continued: "Gwen and Blake are leading separate lives. It's very sad, but the writing seems to be on the wall for their marriage."

On January 31st, Stefani seemed to respond to these rumors with her loving Polaroid IG post, and as seen in her comment section, many fans were relieved to see an update on her marriage.

"So glad you've posted this so people can shut up about the dire circumstances of your marriage!" one fan commented as another added: "Please please would people stop with the nonsense gossip!"

Someone else replied: "So sad people can't just let people be … why not cheer for love instead of hoping for sadness and drama." One other concurred, writing: "Thanks for posting! I'm so sick of reading that things aren't good!!" One follower commented simply, "MR & MRS SHELTON FOR LIFE!!!"
