Go Ara got a major injury on her ankle.
On December 29th, SM Entertainment told that Go Ara, who is recently casted in drama tvN drama 'Reply 1994', got her ankle ligament torn.
She got the injury while shooting a running scene in mid-December. However, she pushed herself until the very end of the drama.
On December 28th, Go Ara headed to a hospital after finishing the final shooting, and its as found out that one of her ankle ligaments was torn, and she needs a surgery.
Go Ara is currently wearing a cast, and she will be getting the surgery in January.
Go Ara said, "I could have a wonderful year for the huge supports that people showed for 'Reply 1994', and I'd like to express my sincere thanks. Sorry for giving you concerns, and I will do my best for a hasty recovery."
Meanwhile, 'Reply 1994' was officially finished on December 28th, and Go Ara casted as 'Sung Na Jung', who is one of the main characters. She showed a successful transformation in the drama, and many people are showing great anticipation for her next work.
